Recently, a group of construction workers were fixing a water leak at the Massachusetts Statehouse in Boston, when they stumbled across a box. As it turned out the box was a time capsule left by Paul Revere in the year 1795. While the capsule has yet to be opened, many people have speculated that the capsule will contain coins, documents, newspapers, and a metal plate that was owned by Paul Revere himself. The box was believed to be placed in a cornerstone during the construction of the statehouse in 1795. The capsule was originally made of cowhide but the contents were said to be cleaned and shifted to another box made of copper in 1855. The capsule is set to be opened in the statehouse on January 6.
