China To Host Winter Olympics

Although it may be 7 years away, the host city of the 2022 winter Olympic games has just been announced. And the winner is… Beijing, China! The International Olympic Committee, which is responsible for deciding the host city of the Olympic games every 4 years, was able to narrow down the field to just 2 potential host cities: Almaty, Kazakhstan, and Beijing, China. Needless to say, Beijing will host the Olympics for the second time after they hosted the summer Olympics in 2008 and will be the first city ever to host both the winter and the summer games.
