Adele Releases New Album

Nearly four years after the release of her last album, Adele has finally put out a new one. Adele’s latest album 25 was released on November 20th and became an instant hit, selling over 3.38 million copies in its first week. 25 has now sold over 7 million copies in the United States alone. Adele’s new cd was produced by XL Recordings and features eleven tracks (fourteen if purchased at Target where buyers receive three exclusive bonus tracks). Adele has also announced tours in both Europe and North America which are set to start in 2016. While performing a live concert aired by NBC after her album’s release, Adele said, “I know I’ve been quiet, I just wanted to come back and surprise you. I didn’t want to tell you anything because I wanted it to be a surprise. I feel like this is the start now.”
