Selena Gomez's New Album

With the release of her surprising new single “Come and Get It”, Selena Gomez seems to show that she’s not a little girl anymore. At age 21, Selena Gomez is still as popular as ever. Between her breakup with Justin Bieber and her appearance at various award shows, Selena is definitely still out and about. Selena’s new album, Stars Dance, features many upbeat tracks and music with more of an influence from today’s culture. While Selena does include some new innuendo, in today’s music, it’s hard not to find suggestive lyrics. Selena’s music does still contain positive lyrics too, with phrases speaking about the power and positivity of true love. All in all, Stars Dance is a pretty great album with many catchy tunes that will make you want to get up and dance. While the music on Stars Dance may sound more techno than on Selena’s past albums, most of her songs are still about love and relationships and Selena, unlike many other stars, remains unchanged and acts as a role model others can look up to.
